Jammu, August 15, 2024: The 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated in presence of Jail Staff, CRPF Personnel D-Coy, 246 Bn, and Jail Inmates on 15th of August, 2024 in District Jail Jammu. Celebration started by unfurling of the National Flag by Superintendent Jail Shri Harish Kotwal followed by singing of the National Anthem. Superintendent Jail addressed the gathering and pledge taken by all the participants that they will contribute in nation building religiously. The programme witnessed by the Jail Staff, CRPF, Medical Staff & Ministerial Staff. After this a captivating cultural programme on the theme Independence Day was presented by the Jail inmates and Jail staff. Sweets were distributed on the occasion.
