Central Jail Srinagar

Central Jail Srinagar is the oldest jail in the UT, its building also bears signs of age and decay. Lots of repair and renovation is done every year to keep it secure and in a good condition. Once located outside the city of Srinagar near the hillock of Hariparbat, the extension of the city has since over-taken it and human settlements have come around it.
