Jammu - J&K, October 6th 2017: The Director General of Police, Prisons, J&K Shri S.K. Mishra, IPS today inaugurated the Institute of Correctional Services at Mishriwalla Jammu. The Institute shall provide basic training to the Jail staff and pre promotion, refresher course and short term training programmes shall also be organized in the Institute. Earlier the Department did not have its own Training Institute for the staff and the subordinate staff was trained at PTA Udhampur.
